Founded in Uppsala, Sweden, Amy’s Ashes combines rocking attitude with gothic aesthetics to create surging, energetic sound and songs about love, loss and failure.
Formed in late 2007 by guitarists Alis and Eric, the band was initially a dorm room project which soon turned into a band. In the spring of 2008 the band entered the studio to debut their sound – a glitzy mix of modern electro-rock. The self-released EP gained immediate success amongst fans and alternative press, resulting in a short tour and a spot on the compilation album “In trash we trust”, released in US.
In the spring of 2009 Amy’s Ashes joined forces with the legendary producer Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah, Soilwork) to record “The Game” – a single from the forthcoming debut album.
After a few line-up changes, the single was released in March of 2010. Climbing to number five slot on the Swedish charts, the recent success also marked the beginning of “The 2010 Restless Tour” and the opportunity to play bigger festivals and venues. During the same year, Amy’s Ashes made their first live appearance on Swedish National Television.

I mars släpptes singeln “The Game” som fick lysande recensioner i både
Sverige och utomlands och gick raka vägen upp på en 5:e plats på
singellistan. Efter att ha turnérat flitigt och avverkat flera av landets stora festivaler har bandet även hunnit medverka i TV4 Nyhetsmorgon.
Med sina energiska liveshower och ett passionerat förhållande till musiken har albumaktuella Amy’s Ashes på bara några få år vuxit till ett av Sveriges mest beryktade och snabbast växande akter. Med episkt vemodiga tongångar kontrasterade mot hoppfulla texter som slår an en ton i oss alla, har de vunnit över fans från alla håll och kanter.
Just nu befinner sig bandet i studion för att spela in sitt debutalbum som produceras av ingen mindre än Tomas Skogsberg (Backyard Babies, Hellacopters, Entombed).
